Are Chily's Series 2 bottles leakproof?

Yes, our Series 2 bottles are 100% leakproof! The o-ring seal in the lid is built in, which means that your bottle is sealed even more securely. Please contact our customer service team if your bottle is leaking.

How do I clean a Chilly's bottle and lid?

We recommend cleaning your Chilly's Bottle regularly with hot soapy water and rinsing the bottle after each use. Please do not use Milton sterilising fluid as this can affect the products. For a very thorough clean, we recommend using a mixture of 1-2 teaspoons (5-10 grams) of bicarbonate soda, a splash of water and your usual washing-up liquid. Mix these to create a paste and spread evenly around the inside of your bottle, concentrating on any marks. Leave this mixture to sit for around 60 minutes and then give your product a good scrub with hot soapy water and your Chilly's cleaning brush. If you do have any build-up from tea or coffee use, you may need to repeat this a few times. Doing this should also help to remove any smell or taste from your Chilly's product. Whilst Chilly's Bottles are made of high-grade stainless steel which preserves the flavour and freshness of your drinks, failing to clean Chilly's Bottles and their lids can lead to a smell or taste developing. For this reason, regular cleaning is highly recommended.

Are Chilly's Series 2 bottles dishwasher safe?

No, please do not put your Chilly's bottle in the dishwasher, or leave it to soak for too long. This can cause the paint to damage and lead to the vacuum becoming ineffective. Please instead follow the cleaning instructions above.

Can I personlise my Series 2 bottle?

Yes, you can! There are a variety of ways to personalise your water bottle which include adding an engraving (available only on non-patterned bottles), adding a different colour collar and lid, or adding a carabiner through the loop. All our Series 2 water bottles, by default, come with a lid specific to each design. You may purchase an additional lid if you'd like a different colour. However, please note this will be purchased in addition to the default lid. Spare Series 2 lids and other accessories can be purchased here.

Can I engrave my Chilly's bottle?

You can engrave on most Chilly's bottles, though it is not available on patterned options. You can have a maximum of 8 characters (including spaces), either upper or lower case from the Latin alphabet. Common symbols such as # or ? can be engraved, but emoji's cannot. If you have any doubts about your engraving, please email support@chillys.com. Your engraving will sit on the opposite side to the Chilly's logo. tems are engraved by our master engraver in England and will be a maximum of 34.2mm wide and 4.7mm high. Please be aware that engraving will add one working day to your estimated delivery date and if you have your cutlery personalised, it is not valid for a refund for any reason except manufacturing defects
