No, Chilly's Coffee cups are not suitable for cleaning in dishwashers as this can cause damage to the paint and the vacuum. However, you can wash the lid in a dishwasher separately if needed!

We recommend cleaning your coffee cup after each use with hot soapy water, please do not leave the coffee cup to soak for a long period of time. For a very thorough clean please use bicarbonate soda. Whilst Chilly's Coffee Cups are made of high-grade stainless steel which preserves the flavour and freshness of your drinks, if they are not cleaned regularly it can lead to a smell or taste developing.

Some of our coffee cups are 100% leak proof, but not all are, please see below for detail.

Our newly designed Plain Original Coffee cup features a screw on lid design, with a Flip Open drinking hole cover. It is 100% leak proof, and fits a wide range of car cup holders due to its tapered design.

Our Emma Bridgewater range is not leak proof. The lids, whilst preventing major splashes if knocked over, do have holes in them for drinking that cannot be closed. For this reason, we do not recommend carrying your coffee cup in a bag.

If your coffee cup is leaking from the seal between the lid and the cup itself, please check the o-ring to ensure it is fitted correctly. If it doesn't sit right on your lid, this may cause your coffee cup to leak.

The new straw cups are leak resistant, but not leak proof.

Yes, the New Original Coffee Cup is also compatible with our New Original 500ml Straw Cup.

The insulation performance of the New Original Straw Cup depends on various factors, such as the drink temperature, ambient temperature, and lid usage. Generally, it will keep your drinks cold for several hours.
