Chilly's: What was the inspiration behind your bottles?
Elliot Snowman: My early influences include Japanese woodblock prints, Korean tigers and British artists such Paul Nash, Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth.
C: Can you tell us a bit about your typical creative process?
ES: I spend a lot of my working time in my sketchbooks. When I’m engaged with a larger project I will usually work with pens and paint on paper and the final steps are finished up digitally in photoshop or illustrator.
C: Could you tell us a little about your background and how you ended up doing what you do? Is this your dream job or was it an unexpected turn of events?
ES: I’m doing now what I've wanted do since I was a child. I feel very fortunate to do what I love every day.
C: What’s been a highlight of your career so far?
ES: I was asked to work on a t-shirt collection with Gucci last year.
C: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to any aspiring creatives?
ES: Draw a lot. Keep sketchbooks. Go outside once in a while.
